“Allendale Caravan Park is a wildlife wonderland” said Professor David Bellamy. With over 80 types of birds spotted from the park and over 60 types of wild flowers, besides the lovely birdsong, hooting owls, the summer evening spectacle of bats flying overhead, occasional spotting by caravan owners of red squirrels, badgers, deer, stoat, hedgehogs and slow worms and the ever-present pheasant, you can make your mind up whether he is right.

We are winners of four gold awards in the David Bellamy Conservation Awards for Caravan Parks and have also won two awards from Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

We aim to improve the environment for caravan owners and wildlife every year and this year’s project is a wildlife pond, surrounded by attractive flower-beds, with a seat to enjoy the scene.
